Oman Cables Industry: H1 2008 Unaudited Financial Results (7/13/2008)

The unaudited financial statements for the six months ended 30 June 2008 were approved by the Board of Directors of Oman Cables Industry (SAOG) in the meeting held on 10 July 2008.
Sales increased by 59.9% from Q2 07 to Q2 08, sales touched RO. 97.5 mn to 156 mn in Q2 07 and Q2 08 respectively.
Concequently profit after tax increased by 122% between the two periods to touch RO. 11.5 mn by the end of Q2 08, in comparision with RO. 5.1 mn during the same period last year.
Oman Cables Industry made an EPS of RO. 0. 129.
